En el marc dels fons europeus NextGeneration amb el programa UNIDIGITAL les universitats de Valladolid, Complutense de Madrid, País Basc/EHU, Lleó, Salamanca, Illes Balears, València, Rei Joan Carles, la Llacuna, Saragossa, Màlaga, Còrdova, Extremadura, Vigo, Las Palmas i Burgos varen crear a l'octubre del 2022 un grup interuniversitari per desenvolupar noves eines per millorar els campus virtuals basats en Moodle.

Produced by the UNIMOODLE University Group: Universities of Valladolid, Complutense de Madrid, UPV/EHU, León, Salamanca, Illes Balears, València, Rey Juan Carlos, La Laguna, Zaragoza, Málaga, Córdoba, Extremadura, Vigo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Burgos.
